How To Make Your Room an Oasis For The Holidays

Yes, I’m a bit extra when it comes to holidays, especially Christmas. Some may say that it’s obsessive when we decorate for Christmas, but this is very therapeutic for me. I try to keep my bedroom an oasis. Is it this clean everyday? NO! Do I make the bed everyday? NO! However, I will always make my bedroom top priority. I can’t wait to dig into this comfy BED and chic pencil tree I got from Michael’s. Read on friends and I will link all bedding below!

Pillow Lady

You know the song by Erykah Badu, bag lady. . . Well I’m the Pillow lady haha! I have swapped pillows left and right and honestly I may do so in January. You wouldn’t believe I purchased these pillows from Walmart at an affordable price!

The bed you sleep on should feel like a cloud. No, you don’t have to purchase a big fancy mattress. We purchased a pillow top from Mattress Firm. It was inexpensive and it has done the job, 1 year later. I like to add a few layers to my bed to ensure a comfy, cozy sleep.

The Buildable Bed

Mattress Pads are game changers! I purchased one from Tj Maxx and used that one for a good 6 months. After quite a few washes the cushion suppressed. Walmart had an unbeatable sale on a mattress pad and friends, I should’ve bought 2! It’s the So Lofty Mattress Pad by Serta. I also have the sheets by Cozy Earth. They’re bamboo and keep the perfect temperature. Don’t forget the silk and satin pillowcases. A game changer for my skin and hair! This cozy comforter was from Sam’s Club. It’s super comfy and I’ve purchased it twice so just imagine how much I love it. Lastly, my knitted blanket from Target!
